Wednesday it was Chatsworth Farm. Again, the excitement was too much and he slept the whole way, which was probably a good thing.

Woke up Grumpy. Eventually got the Wellies on and it was off to jump in puddles. After a little drama when he splashed his trousers, it was off to the farmyard. Wet trousers weren't worried about later.

We will come back here
1 Horse power. But a big one.

what, no pasta...

Funky Chickens

Ah, the playground. This could be a good place

Yep

Yuk, sandy hands

An Archimedes screw you say....

ok and then what

I'll do it

STanding in the reservoir makes it easier

OK Grandad, I've got it

Didn't want to leave the playground for the Guinea Pig wrangling....but then they gave him one to stroke

"Can I have another one?" As we were by ourselves for a while he eventually blagged four

Calm

Back to the playground and the diggers. He was strong enough to move these

We had some of these eggs for tea. Delicious

A source of amusement, was this guy trying to buy some chickens. Two to a box, but how do you keep them in.

We got a private milking show ( nice and quiet in school term time ).
E has a love of the rhythm and the beat. It made us laugh as he picked up the beat of the milking machine and began to move in time.

Cue concerned looks as to where milk comes from, and it's still warm.

He had great day, as did we. We have been coming to Chatsworth for some time, but needed an excuse to visit the farm. Now we had one.

"So, Ed, Eggs for dinner" No worries. Wolfed them down.

"Can I have a leeeetle treat, just a small one...."
