Mum and Dad came to collect No 1 on Friday evening and to see the joy on all their faces was wonderful. At that moment Nanny and Gandad stepped back and let them have some raucous time together. It was knock down Dad time and an occasional cuddle with Mum. Luckily he had eaten a good dinner, because he burns a lot off in action.

On Saturday Davey and I went to the park with Ed, whilst Pat had some time in the garden and Cath chilled for a while. Hopefully it was a holiday for all as C&D have such a busy work life. By Friday though, they were chomping at the bit to see him.

Drive back was Saturday evening and good time was made. It seems that the plan for him to sleep all the way down didn't quite work out.

Nanny and Gandad slept well, after we knew they were back.....although we will probably be waking up at 1.00am for a while anyway ( well I normally do anyway ).

Last photos here. Tried X Large this time, although you should be able to get them all as a film strip by clicking on one

All Little P and Big P, apart from the oven bit - last weeks Focaccia
.
Hope you like them

We had mainly good weather for the week, which meant we could get outside a fair bit.
Ed joined the local library and now has his own card and he also chose a few books to take back to the house to read. One of his favourites was "Goodnight Digger". We also enjoyed that, partly because it was dedicated to Arthur Ed.....

Dry play at the leaisure centre was great fun with much bouncing on the castle ( very carefully supervised and hand held by Nanny ). He also enjoyed running around with the other toddlers and going on various trolleys and slides. We also tried connect 4 for a while - but the set was much taller than Ed, which meant lifting him to put the pieces in. Phew, he is heavy now.

On walking to the park he yells out "Yay" when he sees the playground and then  he is in. Davey and I also took him on the Saturday when he yelled out "Wow".

Anyway. Enough rambling, I know you want photos. I'm loving this new camera and am slowly getting to grips with it. Whilst it's a lump to carry, I have bought a cross shoulder sling which fits to the tripod mount. Much more comfy and easy to lift for an opportunity
