A bit out of sequence.....

After being in SW to help out whilst D was at the celebrations, we came back for CARFEST at Oulton Park. A mix of a cars and music. All put on for Children in Need.

The TR was part of the display and so we had to get there very early.
If we had staked our spot at this time, we would have got a great view.

The Red Rose TR Group in place

They had mini diggers for the kids to have a go on. They either had to pcik things up or knock skittles down. Actually, I wanted a go.

E, D and R would love a go on these. Kid sized tanks that could just about squeeze an adult in

This is the famous (?) Red Barrows. Like the Red Arrows but no planes...just Barrows. This is the limber up after a night of beer, I mean training

We wandered in and out of the display area. They had very kindly put up a large screen for our benefit

Some good air displays

We were surprised to find that we also got a lap of the track for the crowds entertainment...well ok, mainly our entertainment. We waved and they waved back. Good fun.

I had used the throttle a bit here and a circuit marshal hung a sign out. Thought it would say slow down, but it said welcome!

Well, we didn't blag a spot early in the day, but we took our chairs up and sat at the top of the hill, eat fish and chips whilst listening to the bands and watching on the big screens. A grand day out and all for charity
