E came to stay whilst C was in Hong Kong and India. D brought him up in the car, had a good Rib of Beef and Yorkshire Pud and then went back to SW for a quiet ( very ) week. Think D found it a bit strange without the two noisiest people in the world, in the house.
On the Sunday, after D left for SW ( with a box of beef rations ), we took E down to the park for bike ride and a good run around. He loves the park, but looks enviously across to the "Big Kids" playground and the zip wire. He's quite adventurous, when he has got used to something and was for climbing the big slide ladder, but the steps were too tall to achieve.
He had a great time and a good play and run. He loves scaling this frame and trying to invent new ways around it.
The Olympic Gymnast pose, just getting on the bars - whilst kneeling on a slide
He wasn't sure of this before, but this time it was "faster!" He did get giddy though
We think he may take after his Dad with the gymnastics
Fascinated by telescopes and space at the moment. This is one of my favourite recent photos and is my iPad screen lock
....and release....and shuffle along a bit
"So E, what would you like for dinner. Pasta Pesto?"
" Yes please, but no pesto"
then later..." Can I have a treat, just a leeeeetle one"
He was great at settling down all week and was quite happy in his two tier Ed bed ( one tier for sleeping and the other to fall out on or climb up on ). He hardly called out, although one evening he sang for quite a while. Happy Chappy.
We skyped with D in the week evenings and he loved the silly faces that were pulled and the usual D&E mucking about.
then later...."can I have a treat, just a leeeetle one". This was restricted to a Cosmos show.
