Christmas 2013
All straight from the camera, no flash, just got 'em on here

Christmas Eve

Well, a good start as I find that the fan oven has broken....no wonder the Salmon hadn't cooked. Anyway, it was over to the conventional heating and it was finally done.

Having wondered how much Ed would eat he managed....
2 Fish Fingers
A bowl of Pasta
Most of a Heston Mince Pie
and then he asked to roam through the cracker box from the kitchen...

Putting out Santa mince pie and a carrot for Rudolph

He was allowed 1 present from a sack...

...and it was a Big Ben watch!
 Just like yours Gandad

Then it was off to Bed and a while to settle down.

and then, at approximately Good grief o'clock he woke up and saw
the end of the Christmas stocking that Maxie had made.

"I WANT MY BIG FOOT" he yelled,
and yelled and...
..eventually settled back to sleep for a while.

Christmas Morning

Didn't even make it down stairs at first

Santas eaten some mince pie and the reindeer has eaten the carrot. Santa seems to have helped himself to a snifter of cognac

The first of many making jobs for Daddy. Big Ben
I need a Big Ben watch on to build Big Ben

Big Ben..and Daddy took an hour and 25 minutes off the build time

Factime with Nanny and Papa

Building Woodford Castle, which now has Big Ben located alongside

It's a Trebuchet

Slow Oven again and so lunch was eventually served

Two fine bottles on the table..Gevrey Chambertin and Tomato Ketchup ( I cannot get Cath out of that habit )

Building again...this time a working clock model

Moon toast snack with the folks

New Dressing Gown. Snug

Brother Eddie. The Monk

Not bedtime yet

But it was eventually and he slept well, as did we all.

A good day. C&D spent much time planning all the changes to "The Basils". Kitchens, decoration, online planning of layouts. Think they like the place!
Ed was a very good lad and paced himself very well during the day. Presents were spaced out into the afternoon as well

Boxing Day
Lazy day today as we all chill out and slob around, well me anyway.
There are Big Bens all over the place

The TR has been checked out, as has Pats Micra, which is now called Nannys Porsche.

Hope you all had a great time - all our family, our friends, our "Extendeds" in Aus and R&Mai in Hiroshima,Japan, today.
