We had the Tatton Park August car show recently. A bit showery and so the TR had to wear its custom fit "Squarella" now and again. 28 TR's on the stand

A lovely little Austin Special

An Aston Martin Lagonda at c £33,495..

In Car Entertainment for the Lagonda

Hold on...I won this last year at the TR International..

managed to get it back for a few minutes....

Lotus Elise dressed up as a well known cartoon car

Over the August Bank Holiday we went to a local Craft and Country Fair
Some mini and major steam engines

Some of the gigs. Unofrtunately the field was quite rutted and one overturned into the crowd, causing the ambulance to be called

The most interesting items to us were in the Chainsaw carvers area.
They have a competition for the carvers to complete a sculpture in 30 minutes. They use a variety of sized chainsaws.

This one was supposed to be Rincewind

This was the winner and sold for over £200. Not bad carved from a log in 30 minutes!!

Only a few months old...seemed quite wise

This guy put on an excellent glass blowing demonstration. Quite fascinating and his stuff was selling well

One part we always like is the Sheepdog trying to herd ducks into a small pen

...and of course, the bit from the oven. 7 hour slow cooked lamb. I'd just seared this on the BBQ and it was about to go in to cook. Lasts us for 4 1/2 days served in various ways
